Rural health and agriculture safety is paramount to farm families and their workers. Howard Mutual sponsors a variety of local farm safety programs and community events to deliver education, awareness and fun for our many policy holders in the agriculture industry.

Most stolen goods are never returned, often because they can’t be identified. Howard Mutual helps you thwart thieves by offering FREE electronic engravers to mark your personal, auto or business belongings. Discourage break and enters and easily identify stolen property should it occur.

Operation Red Nose

We value are community and we are proud of our employees who give of their time for the benefit of others – like OPERATION RED NOSE. Our caring and compassionate employee volunteers provide free rides at Christmas so that partygoers get home safely. Please don’t drink and drive.

MRI Campaign

Howard Mutual is a proud sponsor of the Chatham-Kent MRI Campaign. The large community project raises funds to aid in the purchase of an MRI machine for the Chatham Hospital. Together we can improve the quality of local health care and reduce the wait time and travel distance for MRI scans.

Refund Cheque

Your premiums, combined with the income derived from investments, cover the losses sustained by policy holders. That money also contributes to a reserve required by law that facilities safe operation of the company. Excess money, if any, is returned to each policy holder in the form of a refund cheque. While there is no refund guarantee, we strive to reduce claims through loss prevention and safety education.
